Introduction:

The YHM R9 is a highly regarded suppressor known for its compact design, reliable performance, and versatility.  Here's a comprehensive review:

Design and Build Quality:

The YHM R9 boasts a robust and compact construction, designed with durability in mind.  Crafted from high-quality materials, including 17-4 stainless steel, it exhibits a sturdy build that ensures longevity and reliability in various shooting conditions.

One of the standout features of the YHM R9 is its compact size.  This design choice enhances maneuverability and handling, making it an excellent choice for those who prioritize a smaller and lighter suppressor without sacrificing performance.

YHM engineers set out to make a suppressor far beyond that of just making the designated caliber quieter.  They made it work across the board so that you, the shooter, can enjoy versatility across your entire arsenal all at a budget friendly price while maintaining rugged durability.   The primary goal was a 9mm suppressor capable of handling high volumes of fire and the ability to run other calibers such as 300 BLK and  308 Win.  It was primarily focused on suppressing 9mm (specifically sub-guns and SBRs). The R9 is capable of being used on a handgun in conjunction with the Nielsen Booster Assembly.  Whether used on pistols, sub guns, or other firearms, the suppressor consistently delivers top-tier noise reduction without compromising performance.  Shooters appreciate the versatility and adaptability of the suppressor across different firearms.  The R9 utilizes industry standard 1 3/8-24 threads which allow for the installation of common direct thread or QD mounts.

Unlike many pistol suppressors the R9’s baffles are welded together so they are not able to be disassembled for cleaning.
