Aero Precision LAHAR 30L

Introduction:

The Lahar-30L provides increased sound reduction when it is needed.  The Lahar-30L is a good candidate for magnum rifles or other hosts that traditionally produce a higher level of sound. For many of us Quieter is better in all cases.

Build and Durability:

The Lahar-30L is constructed using a laser welded combination of 17-4 stainless steel blast chamber and secondary baffles with an Inconel blast baffle to provide increased performance under hard use.  The Lahar-30L is rated for centerfire rifle cartridges up to 300 Win Mag.  The Lahar-30L is rated for full auto fire and has no minimum barrel length restrictions giving it versatility across numerous different host firearms and use cases.  The Lahar-30L utilizes industry standard 1 3/8-24 threads which allow for the installation of common direct thread or QD mounts.

Performance:

The sound reduction is excellent with 28.7 dB reduction, providing a quieter shooting experience.  This test was conducted on the AR-10 with 20" barrel, and RUM mount with 3 port break.  These are Semi-Automatic test results.  We expect more surprising performance when we test with the bolt action 308.

SE 141.1 dB, Delta dB: -16.7 dB

SP 135.5 dB, Delta dB: -21 dB
