We recently had the opportunity to test the Rugged Alaskan 360, and I must say, it left a lasting impression.  Designed by Rugged Suppressors, a name synonymous with quality in the firearm industry, the Alaskan 360 boasts features that promise both durability and top-notch performance.

Build and Durability:

One of the standout features of the Alaskan 360 is its robust build.  The construction is solid and well-engineered, living up to the Rugged name.  The materials used inspire confidence, 17-4 Stainless with Titanium End cap and Mount (R.U.M.). It is ready to handle the toughest conditions.  Total Weight is 11.8 oz.

 Performance:

The sound reduction is above the 20 dB reduction, providing a quieter shooting experience.  This we have tested it on the AR-10 with 20" barrel, Rugged M2 Brake.  These are Semi-Automatic test results.

ML 146.4 dB, Delta dB: -22.6 dB

SE 141.3 dB, Delta dB: -16.5 dB

SP 235.9 dB, Delta dB: -20.6

Overall Rating: Yowie Score: SA-63.6 

 Pros:

Cons:

  • Like many, difficult to remove when hot.
